Have been living in Australia for a year, it's obvious to me that volunteering is a part of the culture in this country. As a person who wants to see how my work can have impact on someone's life, I, too, want to give back to the community. This is how I say thank you of being given an opportunity to live in this awesome country. On the way of finding a place where I can join as volunteer, I bumped into Fusion.
Fusion Australia, is a not-for-profit Christian Youth and Community organisation birthed in Sydney.
The first full week of August is National Homeless Week and Fusion also participate in this event. This year they will held clothes giveaway donated by generous people. I made some signage for the display basket.
Clothes are grouped into some categories based on gender. And here's my take for the signage, highly inspired by
The Street Store.
Initial designs I proposed were more likely like this one, I chose dark grey and brownish green as they look elegant and complementing each other.
